Why I’m Starting a Podcast (and Why I Needed It First)

I never set out to be a podcast host.
I set out to survive.
To find clarity in the chaos. To ask hard questions I didn’t feel safe asking in church. To understand why I kept hitting the same emotional walls—no matter how hard I prayed. To figure out if boundaries were biblical… or just something culture made up to excuse selfishness.

What I found was a God who wasn’t intimidated by my questions—He was inviting them.
Starting Me Again, God isn’t about building a platform. It’s about building space—space for women like me who love Jesus but don’t always know what to do with the tension between faith, hurt, obedience, and exhaustion.
This podcast helps me deep-dive every week into the questions that have haunted me in the quiet moments:
Is it okay to say no and still be holy?
How do I stop performing and start actually living in truth?
Can I love people without losing myself?
What do I do when church hurt feels deeper than anything else?
It’s also a space for me to talk about the heart behind my books, Boundaries, Not Barriers: Peace Over People and The Cost of Her Crown. These weren’t written from a mountaintop—they were born in the valleys. They’re pages from the journey that changed me. This podcast gives me room to expand on what didn’t make the page—and to walk alongside you as you navigate your own questions too.
If you’ve ever felt like you were supposed to have it all figured out by now—this space is for you.If you’ve ever read your Bible and still felt unsure how to live it—this space is for you.If you’ve ever whispered “God, it’s me again…” not knowing what to say next—this space is especially for you.
Me Again, God is more than a podcast. It’s a place to return, to wrestle, and to rebuild—on truth.
I hope you’ll listen in. I hope you’ll see yourself here. And most of all, I hope you remember: God’s not tired of you coming back.
